Otherwise, once a mutually determined day & time is agreed upon, we go ahead with scheduling the initial session. I ask that you create a Client Portal account as there are some initial forms I require prior to our first session. An in-person initial session is preferable to establish care.

There are a couple of different ways to check. You can either reach out to a Member Services representative or locate the information through your insurance portal.
There will be no charge if notice is given 48 -hours prior to the session, however cancellations with less than 48-hour notice will be billed at my full session rate. As a therapist, my time is valuable and in high demand. Late cancellations can significantly impact my ability to serve other clients. A 48-hour notice allows me to reschedule the appointment or offer it to someone else in need.
Yes! I adjust my rates for clients experiencing financial hardship due to illness or job loss. I also adjust rates for full-time students, veterans, and clients over 65. Please reach out if you think you may qualify!
During your first session, we will explore what brings you here and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Initial sessions are usually slightly longer than subsequent sessions. The day/time of the first session may be different from the one that we agree upon for ongoing sessions. Your convenience is my priority.

Counseling is an individualized process and the length of time it takes to see results varies depending on your individual needs and goals. To optimize the effectiveness of therapy and achieve your goals most efficiently, weekly sessions are typically recommended. You're in the driver's seat and we can discuss a schedule that best fits your needs and preferences.

For the most impactful therapy experience, I strongly recommend in-person sessions, particularly with couples. They allow for deeper connection, richer communication, and a more holistic approach to your well-being. However, I do understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and I can offer telehealth in those limited cases.
Finding the right fit is important for successful therapy. I respect open and honest communication, especially if your needs are not being met.
