APPs for your mental wellness journey

Here are some potential tools/aids to support your mental wellness journey!

If you see an app that sounds like a good fit, try it out! If you have others that should be included, reach out to me!

Please Note

Some apps may require a fee.

Inclusion does not represent endorsement. No paid promotion or sponsorship here- just sharing some resources!

Mindfulness Coach: This completely free mindfulness app was created by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for PTSD to teach mindfulness to veterans, service members, and the general public.

Smiling Mind: an evidence-based, not-for-profit mindfulness app with over 300 free meditations and mindfulness programs. This app covers the fundamentals if you’re new to meditation or mindfulness practices.

Calm:Free and subscription options for meditation practices

Suicide Safety Plan- This app allows you to create a safety plan which allows you to include contacts, reasons to live, and coping strategies.

Mint: This app helps you keep track of all your accounts, spending and budgets in one place. It even lets you set goals and spending limits to help you stay on track with your finances.

Patook: Looking to make new friends? It operates similarly to dating apps but comes with one big caveat: platonic friendships only, no flirting allowed!

Bearable: Have you ever wondered how your mood is impacted by different activities or habits? This app allows you to track your mood and symptoms alongside activities like sleep, medication, exercise and more to provide insights about what makes you feel better (and what doesn’t).

Nourishly: This app allows you to track your hunger, activity, sleep, feelings and more to help you identify patterns and build a more positive relationship with your body and food. You can also set goals and milestones based on your own needs.
